Several weeks ago I made a post about some tinkering that I’ve done with Krendel, and at the time I also talked about a plethora of options for expertise, including the direction that I would likely take it in the future. I was planning to post more regularly, then I found myself working on SHARDS for a game design contest. Well, I’ve got a bit of time this afternoon to finish a new post, so let’s talk about another feature in Krendel and how we might see it change. Let’s talk about stances.

I mentioned way too long ago that nearly every home makes its own wine. Not quite as long ago, I partook of the process of making wine. 

Wouldn't you know, just after I muster the resolve to post more something comes up that gets in the way, but its not all bad. Brent Newhall put forth a game design contest, and I somehow got it in my head that it might be fun to take some of the tweaks I'd been working on for Krendel and give them a test drive. 

I’ve been doing some tinkering, and I’ll be sharing many of the rules I’ve been flipping about. Where they may lead to a new edition eventually, just consider them options you can use to better tailor your game. Up first are some options for expertise.

Birthdays in Georgia are a bit different than those in the USA. More accurately, I would say they highlight some differences in culture. I'm not one for celebrating myself. So I always find my birthday a bit awkward, but I remind myself that every celebration isn't strictly about the person they are honoring. Its about all the people whose lives you've touched. The celebration is for them as much, if not more so, than it is for me. With that in mind, I would like to tell you about how my birthday went. My only regret is that I left my camera at home today. So I'm lacking some pictures.
