The 2017 200 Word RPG Challenge has come and gone. I've been a little busy, so I haven't had time to jot my thoughts down about participating until now. If you aren't aware of the contest, you can read about it, and all the entries here: https://200wordrpg.github.io.

Going in, the only thing I knew about Armenia was that it was south of Georgia and that it was the first Christian nation. I learned a couple of more things while there.

I've been rather quiet about Krendel lately. I've been sick pretty consistently, busy with work, and even ruminating over the possibility of a third year here, but that doesn't mean nothings been happening.

Being based in Georgia, I'm right here. I'd kick myself for not visiting some areas in this part of the world, and Egypt was at the top of that list due to my love of ancient history.

Last year Maia and Nana, our biology and chemistry teachers, organized a school trip to the Ilia State University Science Picnic, Georgia’s first and only outdoor science fair. Fortunately, I’d already made my interest in science known and I was invited along. The teachers wanted to inspire the students enough that our school could present next year, which is to say, this year. And we did.
